I would like ALL official information that the Ombudsman Office holds, in how this office navigates and manages complaints of disabled persons

I would like ALL official information that the Ombudsman Office holds, in how this office reasonably accomodates to requests made by disabled persons in navigating and managing complaints made by disabled persons between the years of 2020 to 2023

I would like ALL official information that the Ombudsman Office holds, in what accommodations are currently in use, whereby this office prompts communication with a disabled persons, around making reasonable accommodations in the navigation of a complaint

I would like ALL official information on statistical information that is available to the general public of complaints made by disabled persons over the last 10 years. (not asking for personal information of complainants or staff)
- statistical information including the total of complaints raised by disabled persons that have been made to this office over the last 10 years
- statistical information including how many complaints of disabled persons have been successfully resolved by the office over the last 10 years
and whether or not the resolution service was through early resolutions, or any other form of investigation
- statistical information including how many complaints of disabled persons were unsuccessful
- statistical information including how disabled persons have complained about
ACC, the Ministry of Social Development, the Health and Disability Commissioner, the Privacy Commissioner and other government agencies

Dear Office of the Ombudsman,

I have contacted the Office to follow up on this query on 0800 802 602 on the 28th of June, and then I was emailed on the 30th of June, with the below email. Its now the 19th of July and I am still awaiting information. I never knew that the Ombudsman isn't subject to the Official Information Act 1982, however if a person/s is unhappy with an Official Information Request made about other authorities, that we then have to make a formal complaint with the Ombudsman to have the issue resolved. I'd also like to note that when I called on the 28th of June, I did speak with a staff member in early resolutions who didn't seem to know what I was referring too, when I was following up about an Official Information Request. I think this office needs to ensure that staff members know how to respond to these types of queries when they receive phone calls.

Dear Office of the Ombudsman,

Its now the 11th of September and I still haven't have had this request responded to by the Ombudsman, despite being emailed on the 30th of June 2023 by a staff member as noted above.

Its concerning that the Ombudsman is the entity responsible for overseeing complaints from persons here in New Zealand, if other government organisations or authority's do not respond to our Official Information Requests, however this office can't seem to deliver on the same level of accountability or customer service.

I do expect some level of communication and responsibility from this office regarding my request please.
