Security footage from outside the National Library building
Bruce made this Official Information request to National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa
The request was successful.
From: Bruce
Dear National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa,
I want to find out whether the National Library of New Zealand gathered any video and audio footage from its security cameras of events near its building during the Wellington Protests of February and March 2022.
If the answer is yes, could you also determine whether the footage was gathered purely for security reasons, or was there also a desire to gather information for the Library's collection.
Yours faithfully,
Bruce
