Dear Auckland Council,

Kia ora,

I would like to have a copy of any Operations, Conservation and/or
management Plans for the Albert Park Caretaker's Cottage in Albert Park.

I am trying to understand how the requirements of the whole of Albert
park, contained within its Management Plan 1997, and Conservation Plan
1997 are referenced, and supported, and followed through with, for this
facility, in particular for any parking arrangements for the Caretaker's
Cottage.

The Albert Park Conservation Plan 1997 can be found [1]here and the Albert
Park Management plan 1997 can be found [2]here.

 

At a meeting on Monday 6^th November Council officers addressed any
parking issues at the Albert Park Caretaker's Cottage. Albert Park,
including the Cottage (which is now tenanted) is maintained by Ventia, the
full facility contractor. Ventia have moved their operations to a nearby
street therefore the only contractor vehicles that should be present at
the Park (and Cottage) are vehicles conducting maintenance. Parking in
front of the cottage is restricted to cottage business only and parking at
the rear is gated, limiting wider access.
