Details around Police fleet
James made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for James to read recent responses and update the status.
From: James
Dear New Zealand Police,
Thank you for the response three years ago (FYI IR 01 21 34518 Response).
Additional questions:
- In your response, it was stated that District Commanders have personal use vehicles. Are these able to be used during holidays and during the weekend on non-work related travel?
- The wording of the vehicle policy implies that all vehicle users can only make trips if work related. Do members of the police executive have additional leeway to use vehicles for personal errands (and on annual leave et cetera) much like executives of other businesses would?
- Has there been any review of your relevant vehicle allocation principles or rules in the intervening three years - i.e. new roles included, or previous roles have had vehicles removed or use downgraded?
Thank you for your time.
Yours faithfully,
James
