Kia ora J Michael,
I met with my colleague who is a subject matter expert in the Products to
Projects area. We think it would be useful to have a conversation with you
about your request to ensure we are providing you with most useful
information for your purposes.
However, since you made your request through the FYI website, we do not
have a phone number on which to contact you. If you would be willing to
email me at [email address] through a private address with your
phone number, we will keep that information confidential (as we understand
why you would not want to share it on a public website).
Once we have had a conversation about your request, I am happy to continue
corresponding through this email address on the FYI website. This would
include if there were any refinements made to your request.
Of course, you are under no obligation to provide us with your phone
number. We simply wanted to ask because it would assist with processing
your request. We want to get it right the first time so you don't have to
follow-up if the information received isn't what you were after.

Kia ora Natalie,
Thank you for your interim response. I see my information request as being fairly straight forward, so I do not see the need for a phone call. However, if you would like to clarify anything please contact me by email via the FYI website.
The information being sought in respect of each of the 12 Products to Projects contracts is:-
1.) details of any undertakings regarding the future location of business operations (e.g. an undertaking to locate business operations in Whanganui);
2.) the nature of those operations (e.g. the business operations will be a factory site for all production of the product developed with PF2050 funding); and
3.) the employment expected to be created in those locations (e.g. 15 FTEs in the factory).
The details of the undertakings should also include the enforceability of the undertakings (if at all) and the prospective contractual consequences of them not being met (e.g. any obligation to return funding received).
If this information is all contained in the respective funding contracts, then the easiest will likely be to simply provide copies of these contracts.
Yours sincerely,
J Michael
