1000 Jobs number quoted RE Kapiti Expressway

B M Murrah made this Official Information request to Prime Minister

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Prime Minister should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

Dear Prime Minister,

On May 9th I made an Official Information Act Request to the DPMC asking for the source of your quoted number of 1000 jobs that would be created in the construction of the Kapiti Expressway in the Dominion Post:

Despite having a quoted role of providing "Administrative support to the Prime Minister (and also to the Governor-General). This includes services to the Prime Minister – such as preparing replies to Parliamentary questions, and dealing with Official Information Act 1982 requests and other correspondence." the DPMC viewed that this was out of their responsibility and transferred the question to your office May 22nd.

Please acknowledge your office has received the transferral of this request and respond promptly. It has already been nearly a month since I made this very direct and simple request.
