Dear Penni,
Thank you for your response.
I would like to note that the request has been made well before the 25th of December (today is the 7th) so I feel like this is a bit unacceptable I’m sorry.
I would really like a response sooner as we are wanting to take this to our lawyer.
Any help is much appreciated ☺️
Yours faithfully,
Nève Pridmore

Hi Neve,
It is more than likely that you will have this before Christmas, however I

Dear Penni,
Thank you so much for letting me know!
My apologies, I was mislead by the way it was worded, thinking it may not be looked into at all until approx Jan 26th.
I really appreciate all your help!
Yours faithfully,
Nève Pridmore

New Zealand Police
Kia ora Nève,
Thank you for your request.
I would like clarify with you exactly what we can offer you, as Police
does not as a matter of routine create transcripts of 111 calls due the
administrative load that would come with doing so.
Instead, we can consider releasing the event chronology for the incident.
The event chronology is created by the call-taker when they answer 111
calls and, while this is not a verbatim transcript, includes details noted
by the call-taker that were pertinent to the incident as well as any notes
entered by the dispatcher.
Would this be sufficient for you?
Ngā mihi,
Lucas

Dear Sarah,
Thank you so much for sending this out so quick!
I really appreciate it ☺️
I see all the calls and notes are time stamped, is this accurate as to when the call actually occurred?
Yours faithfully,
Nève Pridmore
New Zealand Police
Kia ora Nève
I have asked the work group that prepared your response for clarification
and this is their response:
Our call-takers submit information into the chronology as they are
speaking with the caller. This information is then immediately visible to
the dispatcher who is coordinating the Police response. The timestamps
indicate when those notes were submitted into the system.
The time between 01:25:12 and 01:25:15 was when the dispatcher merged the
two other events into the first one. As these notes are essentially new
comments to this main event, the system records the time they were merged
into the main event, rather than their original timestamps. I have
attached the original chronologies of those merged events which show the
original timestamps (redactions pursuant to section 9(2)(a) of the OIA).
