Dear Christchurch City Council,
For part of February 2020, ending on the 20th of February, a traffic monitoring device was installed between 18 and 20 Marriner Street, Sumner. Can you please supply the raw data from that device, in machine-readable form, as well as any pre-prepared summaries or analyses of that information that you already have available.

The date you have requested is available on the Council’s public website. You can find it here:

There is a link on that page to ‘download the individual traffic count files’ which includes both a
.ods spreadsheet stats summary file and the raw data files as an .ec0 file which can be opened using
MetroCount software.
The files for the count outside 18-20 Marriner Street will be titled ‘L5118 MARRINER ST’ and will be
in the 2021 folder. There is also counts for site L5118 recorded in 2018 and in 2019 in the
respective 2018/2019 folders.
