“Please provide all information relating to the validation of loans under
Kâinga Ora–Homes and Communities Act 2019, Subpart 4—Other provisions
about Kâinga Ora–Homes and Communities Section 15 Loans deemed to have
been lawfully raised.

Include all details as to from whom the loans were obtained.

Please confirm whether the loans had any connection to the Belts and Roads
Initiative.”

 

Your request was transferred to Kâinga Ora – Homes and Communities for

Upon review, it looks like your request is very broad and does not specify
what kind of loans you are referring to. Kâinga Ora has three types of
borrowings:

 

1.      Bonds (long term market debt)

2.      Bills/Commercial paper (short term market debt)

3.      Crown loans (borrowings from NZ Treasury)

 

There is lots of detailed information on these types of borrowings on our

Annual Report 2020/21, which I have attached (refer to page 194).

 

If this information does not satisfy your request, please clarify what
types of loans you are referring to, as well as what specific information
