I am emailing a lgoima regarding redundancies and pay-outs made by your
organization over the past three financial years.

can you please provide the following information:

thetotal number of employees who were made redundant, categorized by
compulsory and voluntary redundancies.
The total amount paid out as redundancy pay, including both compulsory and
discretionary payments.
For each compulsory redundancy, please provide the following information:

the number of cases where the employee was eligible for payment of
pension.
The amount paid out as statutory redundancy payment.
The amount paid out as discretionary redundancy payment.
The age of the employee in bands of 5 years, such as 55-60, 60-65, 65-70,
over 70.
In addition, please provide the number of cases where the employee was
eligible for payment of pension for each voluntary redundancy.

Thank you for your request for Auckland Council redundancy figures for
2022-2023. I note, in our previous response (Ref: 8140011877) we provided
you with figures from 2019 to 2022.

 

The figures regarding redundancies and pay-outs for 2022 – 2023 will not
be available until the end of the financial year. Should you wish to
request this information, we would recommend that the request is made
towards the end of this year.
