‘We are reaching out to you to request copies of any research – including
feasibility studies and business cases – that your organisation has
commissioned, produced, or holds copies of on the future and current uses
of the Avondale Racecourse in Auckland….’

 

You can expect to be notified of the decision on your request 8 September
2023 at the latest, being 20 working days after the day on which the
request was received by Kāinga Ora in accordance with section 15(1) of the
Act.

 

If an extension of time is required to make a decision you will be
notified prior to that date in accordance with section 15A of the Act.

 

We may also contact you if further clarification or refinement of your
request is required to enable a decision to be made.

August 2023, requesting research discussing the Avondale Racecourse under
the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).

 

We are sending this email to notify you that although we are working on a
response to your request, it is unfortunately it is taking longer than
expected.

I am therefore sending this email to advise you that I am extending the
timeframe for providing you with information for your request, originally
due by 8 September 2023, by 20 working days under section 15A(1)(b) of the
Act due to, ‘consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are
such that a proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made
within the original time limit.’

You can now expect to be notified of the decision on this request by 6
October 2023 at the latest. However, Kāinga Ora will endeavour to provide
you with a response before then.
