1. All texts, emails, letters, invitations, reservations, and any other
correspondence relating to this event and Allan's attendance.
1. The name of the venue the event was held at and where Former Minister
Allan attended the event.
We have transferred part of your request to the Department of Internal
Affairs (DIA). The information to which part of your request relates,
namely the emails of a former Minister, is not held by us but is believed
to be held by DIA. In these circumstances, we are required by section 14
of the OIA to partially transfer your request.

information regarding the attendance of former Minister (Kiri Allan) at
the Wahine Māori Leaders Law Firms Conference on 17 June 2023.
As you know, your request was partially transferred to the Department of
Internal Affairs (the Department) on 19 July 2024 (specifically, the
emails of former Minister Allan relating to the event).
The Department will provide its decision and response to your request as
soon as practicable and within twenty working days of receipt of your
request (which is 16 August 2024). If we are unable to respond to your
