Dear P Robins,

Thank you for your OIA request below.

The Under-Secretary receives advice and opinions from a variety of sources
on a daily basis, including private citizens and organisations within the
Media and Communications and Oceans and Fisheries sectors. Because of
this, providing a list of all advice presented to the Under-Secretary
would require a manual search through all correspondence. As the
Under-Secretary’s Office can get up to 100 emails a day, there is a
likelihood that, without clarification, your request will need to be
considered for refusal under section 18(f) of the OIA – as the information
may not be able to be provided without substantial collation or research.

It might interest you to note that that a list of papers sent by the
Ministry for Culture and Heritage can be found on its website at:
[1]https://www.mch.govt.nz/publications/tit....

Additionally, you might find the some of the information you are looking
for within the Under-Secretary’s diary, which is regularly released on the
Beehive website and is publicly available at:
[2]https://www.beehive.govt.nz/search?f%5B0....

In order to provide you with information that is most helpful to you, we
are seeking a clarification of your request, to the following:

“a list of all briefings and aides memoire provided by the Ministry for
Culture and Heritage, the Ministry for Primary Industries, and The
Treasury to Parliamentary Under-Secretary Marcroft in her responsibility
as Under-Secretary to the Minister for Media and Communications and the
Minister for Oceans and Fisheries from 27 November 2023 to 25 November
2024.”

If you are seeking information relating to a specific area or topic,
please advise what information you are looking for. The more specific your
request, the more likely our Office will be able to support you.

Please get back to us as soon as possible regarding the above questions,
so we can proceed with your request.

Any questions or concerns please let me know.

Many thanks,
