To enable us to identify what specific information you are seeking and to
provide a meaningful response to you for the request, we would like to ask
you to clarify question 4 of your request.

 

Could you please clarify which specific traffic calming measures and their
location you are interested in, and what you mean by ‘cycle facilities’ as
we require this information to program into the Crash Analysis system to
get you the information that you require?   Can you also advise the width
or lanes or length of roading network surrounding the traffic calming
measures, and cycle facilities that should be included in the analysis?

 

Could you please further specify the time period for the pre- and
post-implementation measures the analysis to cover?

Yes, Council regularly consults stakeholders such as those you have
identified as part of making changes to the road network.

No, we have not seen any increase in accidents due to traffic calming
measures or added bike lane design in Hamilton. More information on
