Dear Auckland Transport,

Please provide the instruction and training material for parking officers on how to enforce the following infringements:

1. parked over time limit
2. parked across vehicle entrance (Rule 6.9 Road User Rule 2004)
2.1 in particular, how is the 1 m mentioned in Rule 6.9(2) is to be measured and is there any tolerance allowed

If the instruction differ for officers on foot and officers reviewing the camera car footage, please provide both.

Auckland Transport (AT) acknowledges receipt of your request for official
information dated 20 December 2024  for parking officers' training
material and instruction on enforcing infringements related to parked over
time limit, parked over vehicle entrance, and Rule 6.9(2), including any
differences for officers on foot and those reviewing camera car footage.

11 February 2025, which is 20 working days after the day your request was
received.  This takes into account the summer holiday period from 20th
December 2024 to 10th January 2025, in accordance with the Local
Government Official Information Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA), Auckland
Anniversary, 29 January 2025 and Waitangi Day, 6 February 2025, which are
not included as working days.
