Upgrade Standards Twilight Road Brookby South Auckland
Brett MacLean made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport
The request was successful.
From: Brett MacLean
Dear Auckland Transport,
P&I Pascoe have recently been issued a resource consent for a clean fill at 261 Twilight Road.
As a condition of Consent, the consent holder has to upgrade the existing Road at their expense strictly in accordance with referenced plans that form part of the Environment Court decision.
The plans referenced state minimum roading safety standards ie 7 meter carriageway and specifically mention the removal of trees at the top of the bank of the road to be widened.
The community (some 30 people) attended an on site meeting with Council to view the progress of the works. It was very apparent that the road works did not comply with the directives and specifications outlined in the Environment Court decision and conditions. Council identified some 18 issues that needed to be addressed.
Council have advised it is AT who will address the issues (roading standard, trees, width etc) and will advise an acceptable standard to Council to sign the job off.
The information requested is this.
Copy of correspondence between AT ,Council or other parties in respect to compliance with the upgrading of Twilight Road to the standards and referenced plans of the Environment Court Decision.
Any reports that approve a standard that is in variance of the plans and specifications issued as part of the Environment Court decision. EG Road Width, Tree removal, Carriageway position, Tracking compliance, Geotechnical or Engineering issues of road support.
The AT department and Team Leader who is dealing with the approval and processing of this job.
Yours faithfully,
Brett MacLean
