I would like to request the following information regarding your parking officers.
1.Any employee training/ handbooks/ information regarding: the definition of a road, the process of issuing infringements, dealing with aggressive people, educating the public.
2. All pictures and information regarding all stationary/parking offences a parking officer can enforce.
3. The bylaw/law that allows parking officers to park illegally with flashing lights to commence their duty.

July 2018 requesting the following information:
1. Any employee training/ handbooks/ information regarding: the
definition of a road, the process of issuing infringements, dealing
with aggressive people, educating the public.
2. All pictures and information regarding all stationary/parking offences
a parking officer can enforce.
3. The bylaw/law that allows parking officers to park illegally with
flashing lights to commence their duty.
4. The protocol for ticketing a police car that is illegally parked on a
road for no reason, in simple terms, are police vehicles exempt from
tickets?
5. Can police also issue parking tickets?, e.g expired meters?

question 5 is more closely connected to the functions of New Zealand
Police. Accordingly, we have transferred question 5 to New Zealand Police
under section 14 of the Official Information Act 1982.
