Dear Nelson Marlborough District Health Board,
I would like to know the total number of unvaccinated children in both Marlborough and Nelson for this year and the last five years.

Every school age child has to provide a copy of their vaccination record to be kept on file . It won't matter where they did/did not have the vaccination, it will be on record.

The Nelson Marlborough District Health Board acknowledges receipt of your

respond to your request by 16 November 2018, we will notify you of an
extension of that timeframe.

decision on your request will confirm if we intend to publish the
information contained in the response online, with your
personal/identifying information redacted.
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as reasonably
practicable.

They can't tell you that because they wouldn't know. They can tell you how many children have been vaccinated (by the DHB). They can probably tell you how many children are in the District but how many of them are un-vaccinated?
How would they know that a child has been vaccinated somewhere else?
