Christchurch terror attacks situation reports

Scott made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was refused by New Zealand Police.

From: Scott

Dear New Zealand Police,

I would like to make a request for documents relating to Police’s support for the government response to the 2019 Christchurch terror attacks and memorial service (Operation Deans and Operation Unity).

A document recently released by DPMC refers to situation reports and intelligence summaries produced by Police National Headquarters for these operations and distributed across government:

“To support decision-making and situational awareness, a series of ‘situation reports’ and ‘intelligence summaries’, were released from the NCMC and the Police National Headquarters several times per day.”

The document can be accessed here (quote on page 12):

https://fyi.org.nz/request/16692/respons...

I would like to request copies of the following documents:

ONE: All situation reports and intelligence summaries produced by Police National Headquarters for Operations Deans and Unity, dated 15 March to 3 April 2019.

TWO: All other documents produced by Police and submitted to the Operations Deans and Unity ODESC meetings, dated 15 March and 3 April 2019.

Yours faithfully,

Scott
